Hi I'm Stephanie

I'm a wife, a mom, a teacher, a runner, a community enthusiast, and above all a follower of Christ.

About Me

I see a lot of good and bad in the world. I experience a lot of good and bad, too. I believe in the power of focusing on the good--both individually and as a society. "Whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things."--Philippians 4:8

Why I am a Mormon

My parents are resolute examples of serving God with all their hearts. Their happiness and extraordinary ability to love all around them instilled within me a desire to know God and personally learn from Him. Strength, direction, encouragement, and help come easily when I read His scriptures, especially the Book of Mormon. This church has granted me the blessings of feeling 100% needed and 100% directed in my efforts, both secular and spiritual. I know the structure of Christ's Gospel is just as vital as the doctrine of His Gospel, insomuch as it provides clear, constant, feasible answers to every disciples' heartfelt question: "What wilt thou have me to do?"

How I live my faith

Love. Love, love, love! Which translates quickly into "serve." I don't do this perfectly, but I do all I can to understand others, learn their (personal and familial) wants and needs, and help them attain them. Everyone is good and wants good, and we all need to be reminded of the good within us. We all need direction in how to attain something better than what we have/are. God gives that direction, and He works through those around us--those who are loving enough to respond to His call.
