Hi I'm Cameron

I am the world's luckiest woman. I am married to the greatest man and have the two greatest children, two little girls.

About Me

I am a professional homemaker and I love my job. I get to stay at home everyday and care for my family. While I don't always enjoy the piles of laundry or dirty dishes, I do get to be a chef, a baker, a tickle monster, bubble-blower, a personal shopper, and dress-up companion, all while wearing my pajamas. When I'm not on duty, I love to sew and read craft blogs, bake and eat unhealthy treats, laugh with my husband, and make lists of books that I want to read.

Why I am a Mormon

Having not grown up following a specific religion, becoming a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints was nowhere in my plans. When my husband and I started looking for churches to attend, we wandered aimlessly among a variety of religions. All the while, Heavenly Father planted people in my life whom I really admired because of the choices that they made and how lived their lives. Whenever I found out what church they attended, it was always the LDS church. Finally, I realized I had more in common with them than I originally thought and decided that maybe this church should be my home. It's the only church that makes complete sense to me, and gives me unwavering faith. I know this is the true church of Heavenly Father because of the people who are its members.

How I live my faith

I have one of the best jobs in the church; I get to work with the young women. As a leader, I get to help these teenage girls during a challenging time in their lives try to make good decisions that would make Heavenly Father proud to call them His daughters. Even though I am supposed to lead them, they have taught me more than I think I could ever teach them. I am constantly amazed by their examples of how they choose to live their lives. I hope to raise my girls to be like the young women of this church whom I have met. As I strive to be a good leader for them, I am also striving to be as Christ-like as possible. Doing one helps accomplish the other, and vise versa.
