Hi I'm Greg Jolley

I am a Landscape Architect. I am a soccer coach. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

The most important thing I do on a daily basis is being a good husband and father. I am a father of four children and my life revolves around them. I currently am a professor at a University and find that I am in a position to interact with young adults on a daily basis. This, I feel, has made me a better father. The majority of my time is spent in chasing kids to soccer, baseball, basketball, running, and other outside activities. I realize that this phase in life will not last long so my wife and I are enjoying the busyness of it all. My wife and I together run our boys soccer club and, while challenging, it helps us to appreciate the positive influences in our kids' lives.

Why I am a Mormon

Life is busy and I am no different than most, but the one constant component in everything I do is the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Being a Mormon has been that one thing that has helped to keep me balanced in all that I do. It helps me be a better father, and better spouse, a better neighbor, and a better influence. My relationship with my Heavenly Father is a key part of the important relationships that I have. My appreciation for the Savior Jesus Christ increases daily as I am imperfect and need His help. I appreciate the positive influences that my local lay leaders of the Mormon faith have had in my life.

How I live my faith

I am currently serving my community by organizing and assigning volunteer labor assignments for several congregations. Thousands of hours are donated to a local crops farm, a storehouse where those in need can come for food and other commodities, local thrift stores, and a cannery where food items are prepared for those in need. This coordination is done through local congregations and so I am able to meet and interact with many people I would not be able to know. This service is very fulfilling.
