Hi I'm Robert Dylan Bear Stadel

I am a sports fanatic.I love the ability to love. Im in South Carolina for a brief time. Im a Mormon

About Me

My name is Dylan and i love life. I enjoy sports quite thoroughly, especially wrestling and football. After i graduated high school i attended college where i wrestled for a year and played football for a year. I am studying to be an engineer but im not quite sure which field i would like to specialize in. I am serving an honorable full time mission in Columbia, South Carolina and i couldnt be doing anything better. I am a family man and a little bit of a mommas boy, but only because she has taken such great care of me over the years.

Why I am a Mormon

Before my family and i moved to Utah when i was 8 i had no idea that my mom was a member of the church. My dad who is a non member was in the Navy so we traveled a lot when i was younger and religion didn't play a huge role through those years of my life. My mothers side of the family, who are members, live in Utah so when we moved there after my dad retired, they were able to help reactivate my mom. I was then introduced to the church, received the missionary lessons, and was baptized when i was 9. Now the reason i am still a Mormon today is because i asked God if it was true. I came to a point when i had to ask God if this was really for me. I had dug myself into a hole and had been taught that the only way out was through my Savior, Jesus Christ. For a while i was prideful and thought i could handle it on my own, but i knew that if i continued any further on the path i was on, I would lose some of the people that i truly loved and cared about. So i finally did what i had been taught for half of my life which was to turn to the Lord for help. I began to read the Book of Mormon, pray, attend church, and apply the atonement of Christ. I can testify that it works. I do not understand all of the ins and outs of the gospel, but i do know that it has changed my life. I have received a witness that this is the Lords true church here on earth and that is why i am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by serving my Father in heaven and his Son Jesus Christ for two years of my life. While serving i am able to teach families about the restored gospel of Jesus Christ. While i am here serving i am also trying to become more like My Savior. As i do my best to love the way He loved, and teach the way He taught I am able to grow. I do my best to talk to most people who cross my path on a daily basis. I let them know i want to guide them to come closer to Christ and then ask them how i can serve them.
