Hi I'm Ari

I love music. I love my life. I am a mormon

About Me

I grew up in Provo with a family who was music oriented. Music speaks to the soul and causes my heart to swell :) I love music more than life. After school I started college studying Anthropology and minoring in music. My dream is to be an Ethnomusicologist. Music is a prayer unto our Father or gratitude and of love. Currently I've put my education on hold because I am serving a full- time mission in Spokane, Washington. Nothing has made me happier and nothing will be as important as serving my brothers and sisters in the field. Singing unto them the praises of our Eternal Father in Heaven

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of the LDS Church because it has everything I need and a way to what i want most. I grew up in a crazy household where things always changed and not all the time for the better. The gospel was a anchor that my family and I could always hold on to and always have peace. Now because of my membership in the Church I have witnessed miracles and have a beautiful family that is stronger than ever. The things I have been thru and the healing the Church has given me are always constant in my mind and I could never deny it. Having a plan that my Heavenly Father has laid out for me and having the Book of Mormon from which I can draw strength and guidance have been huge in my life. And now it's I am privileged to go an share that with other of God's children.

How I live my faith

I live my faith thru service. If there is something that I love more than music and it's my Savior and serving. Since my youth I have been involved in all kinds of programs to strengthen the youth and my YSA ward. From Girls Camps to Youth Conferences to Munch and Mingle committee to Missionary Committee. Not only serving in the Church but also in the community in Big/Lil Sister and after school programs at my local Elementary. The Lord uses each of us as tools to let his other children know He's loves them and and is there to help. I live my life so that i can be the best and most useful tool I can be.

Why don’t women hold the priesthood in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints? How do Mormon women lead in the Church?

Ari
Women in general are a strong force. We have a lot to do and a lot to give. Women don't need to hold the priesthood. We hold a much higher power. . .the power to bear children and to teach them to walk in the light. A women has the will power and the patience that a man does not. With our power to influence and bear the next generation along with our husbands power from God there isn't anything we cannot overcome. Together we can achieve such greatness, side by side as one.
