Hi I'm Tara

I'm a student. I love meeting new people, learning new things, and enjoying the beautiful outdoors. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am studying communication disorders at Brigham Young University, aspiring to be a speech pathologist. I chose this career path because I love helping others, and I can do that by helping individuals learn how to communicate with those around them! I love hiking and camping or almost anything that allows me to enjoy the beauty of God's creations. But I also love to stay at home with my family and enjoy a good movie! I love my family so much, and I am so glad that Heavenly Father blessed me with them. I wouldn't trade them for the world. I also love music! Although I am not very good at either, I find joy in playing the piano and guitar in my spare time.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is the only church that contains the fullness of the gospel on the earth today. Every time I pray, I know that Heavenly Father is there, and He has answered my questions regarding the truthfulness of this church. My testimony in its teaching strengthens every day as I witness miracles in my life. Being a part of this faith has brought me such incredible happiness that I know I would not be able to find anywhere else. I am a Mormon because of the clarity it provides for my life. I know the Book of Mormon is true. I know that Jesus Christ lives.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by striving daily to follow the example of my Savior, Jesus Christ. I study the scriptures including the Bible and Book of Mormon every day to try to learn how I can better do that. I pray morning and night, and whenever I feel that I need strength or comfort from my Savior, or when I want to thank my Heavenly Father for all my many blessings in this life. I enjoy going to church every week and participating in church activities throughout the week. I have also decided to serve a full-time mission, and I am called to serve the people of Buenos Aires, Argentina. I am so excited to be able to share what I know and the happiness I feel with them. I believe that serving others is an essential part to living my faith.
