Hi I'm Kade Allred

Hello friend! My name is Kade! I am serving a mission in MO! I love my family more than anything! And guess what? I'm a Mormon!

About Me

About me? Well that is a difficult question, because I like to learn about other people! Well I am, I guess, what you call a people person! The more people I can talk to the better! I find it such a blessing as a missionary to smile at someone passing on their way! What is amazing is that it causes them to smile, then it's just contagious, and many people's lives are better! I love people! I love life! Isn't it just a wonderful thing to have another day full of life and joy!? I am all that I am because of the Gospel of Jesus Christ!

Why I am a Mormon

I was born to good parents who loved the Lord. At a young age I loved to go into the scriptures and read the many stories of faith, courage, and love. I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints because I have gained my own personal witness through the power of the Holy Ghost, that this is the restored Church of Jesus Christ on the earth. I have a testimony that Joseph Smith is a prophet called of God, and through the power of God he translated the Book of Mormon, which is another testament of Jesus Christ. The most important thing I know is, that Jesus is the Chirst, the literal Son of the Living God! I know that He lives, and that He leads and guides this Church through His chosen Prophets and Apostles. He speaks to us today because, "God is the same yesterday, today, and forever." I have received a personal witness that God our Eternal Father, and our Savior, Jesus Christ, appeared to Joseph Smith in the Spring of 1820! This is the greatest revelatory event in human history! Yet I am certain that no one needs to take my word for it, or even the Prophet Joseph's word for it. There were two other witnesses in the Grove! Even Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ! Ask God if He was there, and by the power of the Holy Ghost, He will tell you! Like He did with Joseph, God will answer your prayers, by the power of the Holy Ghost! Through the gospel of Jesus Christ and His church I have experienced so much happiness and clarity throughout my life. I invite others with all the sincerity and love I can muster to experience the same happiness that myself and others enjoy today! "By their fruits ye shall know them!"

How I live my faith

I live my faith by studying the scriptures and the words of the living prophets. I love to read the parables of our Savior, Jesus Christ, when He teaches gospel principles using beautiful imagery. I love to learn from the Apostle Paul about being a more devoted follower of Jesus Christ. I love to read the words of the prophet-king Benjamin, from the Book of Mormon, when he teaches, "there shall be no other name given nor any other way nor means whereby salvation can come unto the children of men, only in and through the name of Christ, the Lord Omnipotent." Another way I try to live my faith, is through Christlike service to my fellowman. I try to see everyone for who they really are, children of God. By doing this my ability to serve others increases. This is why I am serving a mission in the Missouri Independence Missouri. While on my mission, I hope to share with people my love for Jesus Christ and His gospel and the happiness that it brings.

Why do Mormon missionaries proselyte?

Kade Allred
Our Savior Jesus Christ, before ascending into Heaven, issued a command to His Disciples saying, " Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost." (Matthew 28:19) The Lord has established His Church on the earth today, providing the world the Priesthood keys of the work. As Latter-day Disciples of Christ we obey that same command and go forth unto to the nations to spread the news of the restoration of the gospel of Jesus Christ, having the authority to baptize. Next time you see the missionaries invite them in, and take time to listen to the inspired message of Christ. I testify if you do this, your life and the lives of your family will be blessed more than you can imagine. Show more Show less
