Hi I'm Amy

I am a Physical Therapist Assistant, I have 4 children, and I joined The Church when I was 19 years old.

About Me

I am the mother of 4 children, I work at a rehab facility doing physical therapy. I am interested in learning how to eat healthy, exercise, and teaching my children and myself how to live the Gospel.

Why I am a Mormon

I joined The Church in South Carolina when I was nineteen. The thing that caught my attention about Mormons was having an eternal family. I grew up in a dysfuntional family that did not teach religion or believe in God. I had attended a Young Life event and the speaker asked each person to go alone and pray. I remember sitting by a pond, crying to God to direct me and help me find a way to follow him. I met the missionaries shortly after that. The missionaries asked me to read The Book of Mormon and pray to find out if it was true. I received a strong peaceful feeling that it was true. Everytime I read the scriptures, go to church and review gospel doctrine, I feel the spirit and I can't deny this feeling of happiness.

How I live my faith

I attend church, teach my children the Gospel, read my scriptures, surround myself with positive things like family centered entertainment, music and books.
