Hi I'm Alex

I was born and raised in New Jersey. I serve in the United States Army. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a father of a beautiful daughter. I am married to the most wonderful woman in the world. I am a big fan of the NFL. NEW YORK GIANTS!!! I also love baseball. GO RED SOX!!! A lot of people find that weird being a Giants fan and a Red Sox fan but that's me. I currently serve in the military. I haven't been in the United States Army very long but I love serving my country and most of all I love serving the people around me.

Why I am a Mormon

I have known the church all of my life. My grandfather got baptized when I was 6 years of age and he took me to church every Sunday so I can learn more from the restored Church of Jesus Christ. He longed for me to get a baptized at the age of 8 but it never happened. For the next 16 years, I barely went to Catholic service, which I was born into, and when I did, it didn't change the way I was and I continued not living by what the gospel taught. My grandfather would bring missionaries to family reunions so they can teach me and talk to me, but I just ignored them. When I was walking to the nearest grocery store and see missionaries walking by, I would cross the street just to avoid them. Then one day, I came back from M.E.P.S. (Military Entrance Processing Station) since I applied to the U.S. Army, in my living room I saw two missionaries speaking to my mother and father. I stayed with them to no be rude. I didn't want to hear anything they wanted to teach but they offered me to read the Book of Mormon, after that day I couldn't put the Book of Mormon down. I love the Church and the way it has brought my family closer together. I love the Church's principle and I apply it to my everyday life.

How I live my faith

Staying committed to the Church and to my family has really put things in perspective. I have always put the family first but I have never put God in the mix. He is in our every day life. I have seen how He has blessed me when I stay committed to the principles that our Savior, Jesus Christ, has taught us. I strive to be as Christ, by helping others in need and praying and being righteous.

Are Mormons Christians?

Alex
Yes we are. We believe that Jesus Christ is our King and our Savior. He sacrificed his life to save all of mankind from our sins. He is the head of our Church. We pray and worship in His name. Show more Show less
