Hi I'm Tyler Croft

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm 19 years old. Currently serving a mission in the Massachusetts Boston mission speaking Spanish. I love my family, my friends, and this Gospel. I went to BYU-Idaho before my mission. I love watching and playing all kinds of sports. I'm a Mormon

Why I am a Mormon

I have read the scriptures and prayed earnestly about them many times. The feelings I get when I pray can be as peace, joy and a simple answer to my question. YES! It tells me that this church is true and that Christ is real, He dies for us and that we can live with him and our Father in Heaven again if we have faith, repent of our mistakes, are baptized by the authority of God, receive the gift of the Holy Ghost, and endure to the end.

How I live my faith

Not much different than most regular people (before my mission). I went to school, had a job, had friends and a family that I would do anything for. I just simply followed the rules that were given to me by the prophets who receive direct revelation from the Lord. I do my best to live the life that God expects me to live as one of his children. I love my family, I love my friends, and I love this Gospel.

Are all Mormons required to serve a mission?

Tyler Croft
I love my mission and wouldn't trade it for anything right now in my life. I know that this is where I need to be and I couldn't be any happier with my decision. But I know that a mission is not for everybody. A couple of my very best friends from home are not on missions right now because they have other things going on in their life and/or a mission is not something that they feel ready to do. And there is nothing wrong with that. God has given us free agency. We are not forced to do anything in our church. They will grow up and still be great fathers, husbands, and friends and I am sure of that. Because I have chosen to serve a mission right now, it doesn't mean I'm better than they are either. We have just chosen to use our agency differently. Similar like going separate ways in life, except just for two years. Show more Show less
