Hi I'm Michael Kilts

I am from Utah. I love Winter and Snow. I am a Mormon!

About Me

I enjoy skiing and playing sports. I love being outdoors. My family its everything to me. I grew up in a small town called Paris, Idaho. My family raised me to believe in Jesus Christ, to pray, read the scriptures, and to make good choices. I also play the drums! I find myself constantly tapping my fingers or a pencil. Skateboarding is fun and is what helps me through the summer when I can't ski.

Why I am a Mormon

I know that because of God's love for us, He provided the way that we can return to live in His presence by exercising Faith in His Son Jesus Christ. As we Repent, make Covenants by Baptism, receive the Gift of the Holy Ghost, and Endure to the End, we are promised Eternal Life. This is returning home to Heavenly Father and being with our families for eternity. Through our Obedience we show our love for Him and our willingness to follow Him.

How I live my faith

I stive to never miss a day of feasting upon scriptures. Feasting upon the words of Christ has come to mean more to me then just reading. It is drinking deeply from the pages of the scriptures and allowing the Holy Ghost to work on us. We can come to know our Savior Jesus Christ and be blessed with strength to overcome life's challenges as we diligently study the scriptures. Prayer is another huge part of how I live my faith. It is comforting to know that Heaven Father cares. He really does hear and answer our prayers. He loves hearing from us daily and will comfort us in times of need. I am also very grateful of the Sacrament. Each Sunday we partake of the Emblems of Christ's Atonement. As we do so prayerfully, and prepare to do so through Repentance, we can renew our Covenants with Heavenly Father and be filled with the Holy Ghost.

Are Mormons Christians?

Michael Kilts
The message we share is centered around Jesus Christ and is of great value and importance. The term Christians was giving to believers in Christ or those who were striving to become Christlike through attributes such as Charity, Hope, Knowledge, Obedience, Patience, Virtue, Diligence and so forth. As members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, we stive to develope and strengthen such attributes as we work to be more like our Savior and Redeemer. Show more Show less
