Hi I'm Ben Burton

I was born and raised in Utah. I love to be in the great outdoors and play Golf. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a student at BYU-Provo, I have been called and am waiting to leave to the Rome, Italy mission in February. I love playing football, golf, skiing, swimming, and hiking! I am athletic and I also love to sit down and read a good book in the fall, walk on the beach at sunset in the summer, get really bad allergies in the spring, and sip hot chocolate during the winter!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I love this Gospel and everything that it stands for. By following the standards set for by modern day Prophets and Apostles I am a happier person. I am more grateful for everything that I have and I enjoy life more fully knowing that I have a Father in Heaven who cares about me and is always watching out for me. I am grateful for Jesus Christ and His Atonement. I know that through it I can be cleansed from mistakes that I make during this mortal life. I know that one day I will stand before my God and truly in my heart be happy to see Him, knowing that my Savior, Jesus Christ, has redeemed my soul. I have felt the truth of this Gospel and it is undeniable once you feel it. I hope to continue living a life that is worthy and righteous. This Church is amazing and the Gospel changes lives for the better! That is why I am a Mormon!

How I live my faith

I am currently an assistant ward clerk in my Young Single Adults Ward here in Provo. I am waiting to leave to the Missionary Training Center in February to prepare to serve in Italy. I love to be a part of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints! It has made me a happier person and has helped me to get more out of life and out of every day that I live. I am grateful for every opportunity to serve in callings for this Church! It is powerful and amazing in so many different ways!
