Hi I'm Katie

I live in Utah. I love to serve others. I've been a member my whole life. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I just graduated high school, and am a Freshman in college. I love to sing, laugh, hang out with friends, and especially do service. I received my patriarchal blessing a year ago and it still amazes me how much Heavenly Father loves me and guides me through my life. I love to share what I believe in and help those around me.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know this church is true. I can feel Heavenly Father's love for me, and I know I have made the right choice. Even though I was born in the faith, I've made my own decision to continue growing and learning more about Christ and why I am a Mormon. I know this church is true, and when I pray and do the right things, I feel eternally happy, and know that I am making the right decisions. My Patriarchal blessing helped me grow even more, and was the first time that I ever felt eternally happy and knew what I was doing, was right.

How I live my faith

I love being able to go visit teach the other girls in my Young Single Adults Ward. My calling in my ward lets me know that Heavenly Father knows what I am interested and he wants me to be able to reach my full potential.

What is faith?

Katie
Faith is a "hope for things which are not seen, which are true". Think of it this way, We all have brains in our head. But can you see it? Can you touch it? No, but you know that it is there. Now think of Heavenly Father. Just because you may not be able to see or touch Him yet, it doesn't mean that He isn't there. We need to have faith in all things. Show more Show less
