Hi I'm Teresa

I'm a wife. I'm a teacher. I'm an elephant lover. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a recent college graduate and am about to start my career as a high school English teacher. I love spending time with my family and doing things outside. I love to hike, read, write, and geocache. I'm in love with my wonderful husband of two years and can't wait to start a family with him.

Why I am a Mormon

Throughout my life, I have seen the happiness that results from my involvement in the church. My friends have often questioned my devotion to my beliefs. They don't understand how giving up some of the things of the world can make me happy. When I do the things in my life that bring me closer to Christ, I feel content and full of peace. It's that peace that lets me know that the church is true and makes me happy that I'm a Mormon.

How I live my faith

My faith is a part of my everyday life. I'm involved in many organizations at church. I meet with our missionaries and speak with people learning about the church. I have also recently started teaching the children at church. Living my faith doesn't just include church on Sundays, though. I try live my faith through my actions everyday. I look to our Savior, Jesus Christ, as an example in my life. Although I am no where near being perfect, I try to be a person I can be proud of and try to improve constantly.
