Hi I'm Lindsay

I'm a flutist. I study psychology, and, most importantly, I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a college student majoring in psychology, and while I'm in school, that takes up most of my time. When I get a free moment though, I love to read, and have written several stories of my own. My very favorites are fairy tales and fantasy novels. I play the flute and love lots of different types of music. I like to cook, especially desserts. In the summer I work as an assistant in a law office.

Why I am a Mormon

This gospel gives me a past and a future that extend beyond this mortal life. I know I am a daughter of God, and I know He has infinite love and compassion for all of His children. I know that families are his greatest and most sacred gift to mankind, and I know that I can be with my family forever. I love my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. I know he died for me to give me this hope and this faith, and I want to try to be like Him.

How I live my faith

I have served in little callings over the years in the church. I once conducted the music, and baked the bread for our weekly Sacrament service. I have not held any great responsibility, but I feel that is one of the beautiful things in the Church. "By small and simple things are great things brought to pass" (Alma 37:6). I try to follow Christ in my life by doing the things I know he would do, and I believe that it is through these small acts of faith and service that lives are changed. I know mine has been.
