Hi I'm Alex

All that is gold does not glitter. Not all those who wander are lost. The old that is strong does not wither. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Like most people, I was born. My life has been far better than I deserve. I have wonderful parents, and an awesome brother who's four years younger than I am. I love music and reading, which is generally what I spent my time on when I should have been doing more responsible things, but whatever. My goal in life is to make people laugh.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because of the Book of Mormon. My parents are both members of the church, bur as I grew up, I gradually fell away from what I'd been taught in my home. I depended on the beliefs of my parents for a long time, but when I was around seventeen, I was lost. I didn't believe in God, I didn't believe in myself, I felt so alone in a world without meaning. Fortunately, a loving mother encouraged me to read the Book of Mormon, and try as I might, I couldn't deny its divine origins, and it all came together from there. The Book of Mormon was revealed by God through the prophet Joseph Smith, and through it we can all know that Jesus Christ lived, lives, and loves us more than we can comprehend.

How I live my faith

It's hard to say how I "Live My Faith", because it pervades all parts of my life. I love talking to people, and knowing that we are all brothers and sisters makes that all the more sweet. As a Mormon, I participate in service activities organized by the church, and try to look for opportunities to serve others in my day to day life. Daily scripture study has become a part of my life, and I try to share that love for the scriptures with those around me.
