Hi I'm Jake Larsen

I'm a musician, audio technician, and electrical engineer. I love soccer, snowboarding, and longboarding. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born in 1991. I have lived in Kaysville, Utah almost my whole life and love it there. I graduated from Davis High in 2009 and then served an LDS mission in Buenos Aires South, Argentina for two years. There I shared this wonderful church with the Argentines and taught the people the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I currently am studying Electrical Engineering at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. I am the oldest of six kids and have 2 brothers and 3 sisters. I'm so excited to have my own family one day. I love playing soccer and lots of other sports. I spend lots of time in the outdoors longboarding, snowboarding, hiking, camping, motorcycling, etc. I love writing, playing, and listening to music and anything audio related. Currently I work as an audio technician at BYU Broadcasting.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I've found that it's the happiest way I can live. It's the most fulfilling lifestyle and I know that it's the only way that I will be able to be with my family forever and return with our heavenly parents. I'm a Mormon because I have asked God for myself in prayer if this church is true and he answered yes. I have felt over and over again that this is the right path for me and know that everyone else can come to the same knowledge. I'm a Mormon because it makes me happy and because I know with all my heart that it's the right way.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by keeping the commandments and by trying to live like my savior Jesus Christ every day. I also lived my faith by being a missionary for 2 years in Argentina sharing the gospel. I was a Counselor for a church youth program called EFY which is focused on helping the youth of the church to come unto Christ. I do my best to fulfill all the responsibilities that are given to me in the church and try to help others come unto Christ as I come unto him myself.
