Hi I'm Curtis

Born and raised as a Latter Day Saint and after distancing myself from the church as a teenager, I'm glad I'm back. :)

About Me

I am just as many people growing up in the digital age are....attached to all sorts of eletronic and computer devices. I love computers and am working on a degree for computer science. I also have had a long and deep attachment to playing all sorts of video games!....Mostly Xbox and Pc games and usually multiplayer games. I also enjoy swimming, board games, movies, and activities with friends and family! I love Salt Lake City, the environment, the scenery(especially the mountains), and the people!

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in the church, baptized at 8. As a teenager I became inactive because I thought I knew better than anyone else and thought that I knew what I wanted in life. After 6 years of following what the world called happiness I had hit rock bottom and was very unhappy with life. My dad recommended I start going back to church one day and some members of the singles ward where I lived knocked on my door just a day or two later. I took that as a sign that I should at the very least try it out again. I attended a singles ward and absolutely loved it! It helped met get back on the path to true happiness and it has completely changed my life for good to this day! I love the gospel and my savior Jesus Christ and I know that this is his church restored again to the earth. I know that having a living prophet is important and SO necessary in a day and age full of wickedness. The gospel of Jesus Christ brings true happiness and it is something that can last for eternity. I know its true and I love it so much!

How I live my faith

I live my life the best that I can and try to be the best example I can. I try my hardest to become as close to the savior as I can. I also try to be how he would be if he were in my situation. I am currently serving in the Oklahoma Tulsa Mission because I want to share the happiness the gospel brings. I have been incredibly blessed and have received so much happiness in my life from living the gospel. I want everyone to have the same opportunity and to receive what I have from living the gospel. I am 1500 miles from home, have very little contact with friends and family, work day and night to share the gospel and our beliefs, and I LOVE IT! :)
