Hi I'm Alana

I'm the daughter of a Medic in the Utah National Guard. My father served in Iraq for a year and a half. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love baking, writing, photography, playing the violin, and spending time with my family. I plan on going to college at Utah State University after graduating high school, and I am eagerly looking forward to going on a mission and serving my Heavenly Father. I love life! :)

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints for my entire life. I first began to gain a testimony of this work for myself when I was in Middle School. I have read and pondered the scriptures, and I know through the power of the Holy Ghost that they are truly our Heavenly Father speaking to us, and they have helped me so much in my life! They have been my friends when I felt lonely, and my light in darkness. I am also grateful for my Savior and the infinite love and sacrifice He has shown, and I can testify that he lives and loves me, just as He loves every one of us! I know that the Gospel is true, and I have seen many miracles performed in my life as well as in the lives of others. I have felt the Spirit bear witness to me that Joseph Smith did restore this church, that Thomas S. Monson is a Prophet of God who receives messages from the Lord, and that each and every one of us is important and that we are all children of God. I am so thankful to have the church in my life!

How I live my faith

I am a Counselor in the Miamaids Presidency, and I love and care for the 14-15 year old girls in my class. I enjoy attending Seminary, where I gain a deeper understanding and knowledge of the scriptures and the teachings of the prophets. I also live the standards in For the Strength of Youth, and enjoy sharing my beliefs with others.
