Hi I'm Anna Heaton

I was adopted from China. I'm a musician and a competitive diver. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm currently a Junior in high school, and I do competitive springboard diving for my school. Along with my sports and academics I take weekly piano lessons and I am in my school's top orchestra, playing the violin. For college I am planning on majoring as a Dental Hygienist, or a nurse.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I was adopted into a Mormon family, and I consider this the greatest blessing that God has ever given me. As I've gotten older I've learned and understood more about my LDS view, as well as view of other religions. I can still say without a doubt that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is the restored church on this earth today. Now I've had my troubles before with the church, however I realized that they were just silly worldly doubts that God always had an answer to, and the bitterness I once tasted has taught me to really appreciate the sweet goodness that the gospel brings on my life. I'm not perfect in my life, and I'm not perfect in the gospel, but I strive to be as perfect as I can, and I know that through God's grace He will make up for where I fall short.

How I live my faith

I have experienced many callings in my ward such as president over the 12 and 13 year olds as well as 14 and 15 year olds. When I was the president I planned most of the class activities and aided in the combined activities. Now, I am the bishop's daughter so the beset way for me to serve is to be a good example for both members and non members in my community.
