Hi I'm Brandon Fanaika

I play football for Stanford University. Jesus wants me for a SUNBEAM. I'm a Momma's boy and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am 18 years old. I like hanging out with my friends, I like playing sports and just staying active, I grew up in this gospel with only one parent, my Mom. It was when I was about 10 that she was able to convert my Dad and now we have a very strong and faithful family in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I have been called to serve in the Fort Lauder Dale mission where I will teach the people in the spanish language. Being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints has blessed my life in ways that I never knew was possible. It is so evident through all that we have the our father in heaven loves us so much. I am so happy to have this opportunity to share this Gospel that I hold so close to my heart because I know what it can do and what it can be in peoples lives! I would be nothing with out it and I know that I wouldn't be the person I am today if I didn't have this Gospel in my life.

Why I am a Mormon

Because I can not deny all the blessing that the Lord has given me. He has given me to much and I know that he loves us all. When I was young my Mom would wake us up every morning, all four of us little kids and get us ready, feed us, made sure we went to Church and made sure we were partaking of the Sacrament every single Sunday. It was so hard for here at times because my Dad was not of the same faith until about 8 years ago my Dad converted because of my Mom and he could not deny this Church. I will be for ever greatful to my Lord in Heavan for giving me a lady that is so strong and for giving her the will to take upon her self the name of Christ.

How I live my faith

Growing up I was just one of those kids that followed their parents to church. It was not until I got alittle bit older that I started to really involve the church in my life because of all the blessings that the Lord was giving me. I am currently on a mission where I have been given opportunities to teach others and bring them unto Christ. I love the Book of Mormon with all my heart because they are Gods words, they tell me what I need to do and what I need to become if I want eternal happiness. It has changed my life for the best. It makes me never want to never to a bad thing ever again. I can rely on this Church to help me overcome my trials and personal challenges in life and I know that it is through this Church that I could become a better person through my trials. I want the whole world to be able to be apart of this Gospel because it is for everyone!

What is the Book of Mormon?

Brandon Fanaika
The book of Mormon is just Gods way of talking to us. The Bible was his way of talking to the Prophets of old like Noah and David and Abraham, Well it would make sense that God still talks to us and you can truely know through the Book of Mormon that he still does through the Prophets of these latter days. Do Mormons only help Mormons?

Brandon Fanaika
NO! We believe in following Christs example and he not only performed the greatest act of service but many other acts of service to people not of his church. We as Mormons have a job of helping anyone and everyone in need. This Church has donated more than 1 Billions dollars in cash and other materials to 167 different countries in need of humanitarian aid since it started keeping track in 1985. Many of these countries have litte to no Mormons. More than 53,000 Mormon missionaries serve throughout the world today serving others and helping them to come closer to Christ. Show more Show less
