Hi I'm Doug Archibald

I grew up in Pennsylvania. I'm bit of a jokester. I love to write. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I absolutely love having fun. I love playing party games, sports games, card games, board games, video games, any kind of game! And I love to play games with whoever! Friends, family, classmates, old people, anyone! I guess I love games because they are a great and easy way to get to know people, they make you think, and they are always good for a laugh. I guess that is another hobby of mine: I love to laugh! And even funner than laughing, is making other people laugh. In my college I was a member of the stand-up comedy group, Humor-U. Which means, I was a part time stand-up comedian. And when I'm not saying a stand-up routine I make my friends laugh in other ways: by the movies I make, by the comedy rap songs I write, and by learning to laugh even when times are tough! I was born in Dunnedin, Florida; I grew up in Allentown, Pennsylvania; and my family currently resides in Highland Village Texas.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because its what God wants me to be! He has communicated to me very clearly by His Holy Spirit that this is His church. And God wants me to be in it because He wants all of us, His children, to be happy, and this church has made me happier than any other thing in the whole world! The church has given me peace and purpose in this life. I know why I'm here, and I know where I'm going after I die. I know I can live with my family and Father in Heaven forever, and its all possible thanks to Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

How do I live my faith? I do so by always striving to make other people happier. When I see someone feeling down or lonely, I try to befriend them! When someone is crying or frustrated, I'll try to help them see the positive side of their situation and maybe even make them laugh! I do this because I know that is how Jesus Christ would want me to live my life. He wants all of us to be happy, that is why he did what he did, and that's why he sends people like us to go about to help those in need! One of the sweetest feelings is knowing that you were able to be a tool in the Lord's hands to help improve someone else's life.
