Hi I'm Sherri

I grew up in Utah. I now live in Idaho. I work with and serve adults with disabilities. I am a Mormon

About Me

I am a manager at a facility that provides opportunities to adults with disabilities, including work and daily living skills to assist them in becoming more independent. I have had the opportunity to serve these wonderful individuals for over 20 years in various areas including teaching special needs seminary and institute when I was living in Utah. I was blessed to have a brother who was born with Down Syndrome. Because of his influence in my life I have always wanted to serve individuals with disabilities. Over the years I have come to recognize all that they can teach us for good and what it means to walk in the ways of Christ. I am married and have 4 children ranging in ages from 12 up to 18. I enjoy reading, exercising, spending time with loved ones and I am continually striving to learn new things! I love the gospel and it's teachings!!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because it makes sense to me. I have had the opportunity to serve a full time mission and it solidified my testimony of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Over the last fifteen years a number of family members have died. Because of my testimony in our Heavenly Fathers Plan of Salvation and the knowledge it gives that we will see our loved ones again I have had the blessing of strengthening my faith in Jesus Christ. He does live and love us and He and our Heavenly Father are a prayer away. I have a sure testimony that there is life after this life the Resurrection is REAL!! We will be with our loved ones again. We are blessed to have scriptures that teach of Jesus Christ including the Holy Bible and The Book of Mormon Another Testament of Jesus Christ. I know that Thomas S. Monson is a true prophet. I am a Mormon because it is true!!

How I live my faith

I live my faith by serving the youth in my ward as the 1st counselor in the Young Women's Program. I am also a visiting teacher which I enjoy. I have opportunities to serve in the community through my job and through my calling with the youth. I work hard to be a good example to those around me. THis helps me to live my faith.
