Hi I'm Quinten

I play water polo. I'm studying business at BYU. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm preparing now to serve a mission and am working to help pay for my first year at Brigham Young University, where I will study Business and Linguistics. I have played water polo and played the sousaphone in marching band for the past 4 years. I love to swim and run and hope to finish an Iron Man some time in my future.

Why I am a Mormon

I choose to be a Mormon and follow the teachings of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints because I have put to the test the many lessons and principles that are taught by this wonderful Church, and have found that when I abide by those precepts, there is a light that comes into my life that allows me to be a blessing in the lives of others and see the many tender mercies of my Heavenly Father in every aspect of my life. There is a peace, a calm, a joy that comes through living the Gospel of Jesus Christ that is unparalleled in power and glory, that allows me to feel that I am loved and have a purpose here on the Earth. I can feel that I am a son of God and know that there are others in heaven cheering me on as I go through the journey of life, and I wouldn't trade that for the world!

How I live my faith

As a youth I have been able to serve as a leader to my peers and spent a lot of time planning and helping carry out the many different activities we do each year on a weekly basis. I went on numerous camping trips and outings with the other young men my age and created lasting memories and friendships through active participation in the Scouting program and the youth programs of the Church. I also had the opportunity to serve others on countless occasions and feel extremely blessed to have been able to see the blessing that I have been in their lives.
