Hi I'm Richard

Husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, ATV rider and I love to travel.

About Me

I was born in Utah to active LDS parents and I have tried to stay that way since then. My high school education was, Lincoln High in Orem. It no longer exists. Then BYU for a BS in education and finally Southern Illinois University for an MS in education. My father was a fruit farmer and made a pretty good living at it. I tried farming for a short time and gave it up. My wife and I have six children, twenthy-one grand children and one great grandson.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church and have never found any reason to leave it. Our leaders give us good positive advice and as long as I follow it I stay out of trouble and prosper. Such as get and stay out of debt.

How I live my faith

The best way to influence children and grand children is by example. I try to be a good example in my life and to not lecture, preach or pontificate. By getting an education I have established a goal for my children and grand children to get an education. So far it has worked.
