Hi I'm Chelsey

I grew up in Kansas. I'm a student at BYU studying English, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love, love, love to read...and write...but mostly read. It made sense to study English Literature, so that's what I'm doing. In a year I'll be done, and while I have no idea what career I will begin to pursue, I cannot wait to start my next journey! I was able to marry the man of my dreams in the Salt Lake City Temple on May 31st and there began the greatest journey of all--Our eternal family!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I can see how much my life has been blessed by the knowledge of eternal families and God's plan for us.

How I live my faith

My husband and I were married on May 31, 2012. We both love children and were hopeful that our callings in our new married ward would be teaching in the Primary...things worked out a little differently than we had planned though...and I was called to be the 2nd counselor in the Primary presidency. Although I'm intimidated by the other women in the Presidency who have been married a while and have a lot more experience with children, I'm already beginning to see that the Lord has prepared a way for me to learn from these women and gain the experience I will need to become a mother someday. It is such a huge blessing for me to be able to work with and watch the small children of the church as they learn and apply the basic gospel principles being taught them. It has inspired me to renew my own faith in these principles of obedience and strengthened my love of Christ and His teachings.
