Hi I'm Emma Green

I grew up in California. I love theatre and psychology. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hi, my name is Emma. I love performing in plays and doing tech work for theatre. I grew up with 7 other siblings and I'm the second to the youngest. Our home was usually very loud, but a lot of fun. Most of my siblings have families of their own now, so its gotten even crazier and more fun. I'm a college student and my major is Psychology. I want to become a Marriage and Family Therapist.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents found the church and gained testimonies before I was born and all of my siblings were baptized too. I was the first person my family to be born into the church. I attended church classes as I was growing up and enjoyed learning about Jesus Chirst and the scriptures. When I was 7, I spent my summer break from school with my grandma out in the country and I was in a large fire. I was really scared by the walls of flames that were close to the house and I prayed to Heavenly Father for comfort. I was able to calm down and feel the Spirit in the midst of the chaos. I had always felt that the church was true, but I wanted to be sure before I was baptized. I had a great testimony of prayer and I knew if I asked Heavenly Father if the church was true, that He would help me know. I prayed and felt the Spirit. I was baptized when I was 8 years old. As I've gotten older, I've strived to continually build on my testimony. I've had lots of questions, but I've never had doubts. The church is true. I keep learning new doctrines and principles and when I learn these things, I pray to Heavenly Father to have a confirmation of their truthfulness.

How I live my faith

I plan activities for the women at church where we can help each other learn and grow in the gospel. I enjoy going to visit women in the ward and learning more about their lives. My immediate family and I are members of the church and we help each other learn by studying the scriptures together and looking for answers to our questions. I want to be married and sealed in the Temple in the future so I can be with my future family forever. Right now I'm living my life so that I can be worthy to receive these blessings.
