Hi I'm Monica Warner

I am a poor college student about to get married in the temple to the most wonderful man I have ever met!

About Me

I like to sew, knit, croquet, and make a lot of different crafts! I love to be with my family and do recreational activities; anything from soccer and snowboarding to playing cards and board games. I am going to collage and studying Mechanical Engineering. I had an opportunity not long ago to do go on a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and teach the people of California. I love the California people. Serving a mission in California is one of the most unique and incredible experience for my life. I have never learned so much in so little time.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born in a family that believed in the Mormon faith, I have always believed everything to be true, but when I was about 10 years of age, I sat myself down and prayed really hard, I wanted to KNOW if it was true for myself! I got an answer from God. I felt good inside, a feeling that was so powerful and unique that it could only have come from God. Since that time I have decided for myself to live this faith. I decided to do the things I do, because I could not deny that I received an answer from God, and that moment has changed the direction of my life since.

How I live my faith

I am growing closer to my future husband and serving the people around me. I understand that sharing the love that our Saviour has for His children is part of what we are to do in everyday life. We all need to feel that we are loved. We are meant to change and grow closer to our Lord, and falling in love with Jesse has taught me more about patience, love, kindness, humility, and etc... than any other moment in my life. That is what life brings to us, many experiences to teach us how to become like our Heavenly Father!!!

Why do Mormons believe in the Bible?

Monica Warner
The Bible is the word of God dictated through the prophets. It testifies of Jesus Christ and that he truly is who he proclaimed himself to be. The Son of God. It contains His teachings, and through these teachings we hope to follow Christ's example and really become his disciples in word and deed. Show more Show less
