Hi I'm Tyler

I'm a Mormon

About Me

I played tennis in high school. I love playing ultimate frisbee and piano in my free time. I don't really read music but I enjoy making songs on the piano. I have three brothers and three sisters all of which are spectacular. I enjoy reading books. I am from the great land of Texas. I like playing chess with my brothers. I enjoy baking because I worked at a bakery for two years.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have read the Book of Mormon and have prayed asking God if that book is true. He taught me by the Holy Ghost that it is true. When I found that out I knew that everything else was true. I knew that God is my literal Father, and we all are His literal children. He loves us and wants the best for us and that is why I am here. That is also why we can become like Him, and that is possible through the atonement which my Savior Jesus Christ performed. Because of His sacrifice I can become like my Father. To me it makes sense that a father who loves us would want us to have all that He has and to be eternally happy, that just adds to my testimony. I am Mormon because I found out through the Holy Ghost that the Book of Mormon is true. I know that anyone reading this can find out for themselves. Heavenly Father loves all of us. All we have to do is read The Book of Mormon with the sincerity to know the truth and with humility, then ask Heavenly Father and I know that He will teach you by the Holy Ghost. When we search and truly want to know the truth, Heavenly Father will recognize our faith and will reward us, but first we must act.

How I live my faith

Every month I go visit families from my church. I go with somebody else and we will teach them a lesson, make sure they are doing okay, and ask them if we can serve them. I have learned a lot from the people I teach. I help with volunteer opportunities in the community when I can.
