Hi I'm Mikayla McGhan

I am a college student, who lives in Arizona. I am a daughter, aunt, sister, future missionary, and a Mormon.

About Me

I am a college student studying to get a bachelor's in accounting. I am just your basic nineteen year old who loves spending time with her friends, works hard, and goes to school. I am blessed with a huge family. I have four brothers and sisters, and fifteen nieces and nephews. I love my religion so much that I have decided to put all of that aside and serve an eighteen month mission in the Philippines.

Why I am a Mormon

I love my religion, but what exactly is this Gospel? The Gospel of Jesus Christ is: having faith in Jesus Christ, repenting and coming unto Him, being baptized by immersion for the remission of sins, receive the laying on of hands for the gift of the Holy Ghost, enduring to the end. My testimony is unwavering because I know that this church is true. Our Lord, and Savior Jesus Christ died on the cross for us. He suffered for us individually. He did not just suffer for everyone with depression, anxiety, addiction, etc. He suffered for every soul that has ever been born and will be born into this world. He did this so we might be able to return to our loving Father in Heaven, and live forever with our families. I know that Joseph Smith restored the one, true church to the Earth after it had been removed after the death of the Savior. If we listen to and come unto Christ, we may become like God. We have an infinite amount of blessings that are promised to us if we can just endure to the end. Life is not meant to be easy. This is our test to see if we can prove to be faithful. I love the Lord and his true church, and that is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I have been a Mormon all my life, and I could not love my religion more. I love my faith so much I have decided to devote eighteen months to the Lord to preach it. I report to the Philippines Missionary Training Center in January next year. I am assigned to labor in the Philippines Quezon City North Mission speaking Tagalog. Faith is a nineteen year old girl stepping on a plane to leave her family for eighteen months, so that others may be with their families forever.
