Hi I'm Fran

I was born and raised in Logan, UT. I am the proud mother of five beautiful children whom I homeschool.

About Me

I am the mother of five wonderful children. My life is devoted to rearing my children. Shortly after receiving my degree from Utah State University, my first child was born. Since then I have spent most of my time developing my children. I love to hike and walk and anything else I can do to maintain my physical fitness. I am passionate about eating healthy and encouraging my family to do the same. In my spare time I enjoy reading and gardening.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born to parents who were very active in the church and continue to be. They have always been great examples to me of true followers of Jesus Christ. I have watched them willingly serve others their whole lives. Because of the example they have set I have had the desire to gain my own testimony of the gospel. As I have tried throughout my life to keep the commandments, pray, study the scriptures, follow the prophet, and serve others I have felt the Holy Ghost many times in my life testify of the truthfulness of the Gospel. I cannot deny the gospel is true because of the many spiritual experiences I have had with the Spirit. I know God lives. I know that Jesus Christ is the Redeemer of the world. I know President Thomas S. Monson is a prophet of God. I know that Joseph Smith was a prophet of God and that he restored the true church upon the earth. I know the Book of Mormon is true. I know God loves me. I have felt His love for me many times in my life, especially during the hard times of my life when I have needed Him most. I know that when I sincerely pray to my Heavenly Father he hears my prayers and grants me the righteous desires of my heart. The gospel brings peace and joy into my life.

How I live my faith

I serve in the Church by organizing activities for the women of our ward. These activities vary from spritual to homemaking to personal development. These activities are held every month on a week night. It is so fun to get to know the women of the Church outside of the regular Sunday meetings. The Church also teaches the importance and eternal nature of the family. By forgoing a career and focussing on my family I know I am doing what Heavenly Father wants me to do. In addition to investing in the lives of my children I spend time each day investing in my own spirituality. I pray each morning and night, and spend time each day reading the Book of Mormon.
