Hi I'm Karla Sharp

I am a retired school teacher. I just found that I like to wake board. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have been married for 31 years and have four grown married children and seven grandchildren. About fifteen years ago, I discovered high adventure scouting (Venturing) and have not looked back since. I love to go white water rafting, canyoneering, wake boarding, hiking, and target shooting handguns. I am actually a more accurate shot than my husband. I love music, especially singing and playing the piano. I am fluently bilingual and love the Spanish language.

Why I am a Mormon

I was baptized when I was sixteen years old. I cannot even begin to thank the home teacher who never gave up. Brother Frenzel, wherever you are, thank you so much for continuing to visit us month after month, even when we sicked our dog on you! I know that Heavenly Father loves me and that Jesus Christ lived and died to atone for my sins. This knowledge helps me to always try to live my life so that He will know how valuable his sacrifice was for me. My goal is to make sure that the love of Jesus Christ shines forth through my life.

How I live my faith

I currently serve as our Stake Primary President. This means that I work very hard to take care of every person who teaches Heavenly Father's children from the age of 18 months to 12 years. I love them so much.
