Hi I'm Nanieve

I'm a Mormon. I raised a family of seven wonderful children and have 39 grandchildren. I am a teacher by profession .

About Me

I have always loved music and reading. Since I became an emptynester I have taken up sculpting. I find this a fun and challenging hobby. My husband and I also love camping and traveling around the United States in our motorhome.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a family that belonged to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, hence I attended church as a child and was taught the beliefs of the Mormon church. As I grew to adulthood, I had questions about some of the doctrine and commandments. I looked around at other life styles. I prayed and studied my religion. I have found that, for me, this is the life I love and want to continue. I have married a wonderful man whom I love very much. Through the sealing power of the priesthood, I will be able, if I live righteously, to live with him through eternity, not just until death. We have been blessed with seven wonderful children. We have taught them the Gospel and to live the commandments taught by the Savior. I feel that because of the teachings of the Gospel, getting testimonies of their own, having a relationship with their Savior and living the commandments, they were able to avoid drugs, smoking, immorality, addictions, etc. that we saw in many of their friends. I love to feel the Lord's Spirit in my life. We now have 29 grandchildren. All of them know how to pray and talk to their Heavenly Father. They are being taught the tenets of the Gospel. They are growing up to be wonderful, productive human beings who love the Lord. I love my life. I believe that this is the true church on the earth. I believe this is the best way to live and raise a family. That is why I am a Mormon and will continue to be one for the rest of my life.

How I live my faith

I have always attended church and participated in the various organizations. I love serving others and help where I can. I also enjoy teaching the youth and adults. Since I play the piano, I have accompanied many vocalists and choirs. I love worshiping the Lord through music.
