Hi I'm Carly

I'm a college student. I've lived in Utah, Colorado, and now Arizona. I'm about to serve a mission in Alabama and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am in college, but I am taking a break to go on a mission, and will start my second year when I return. I am not sure what to major in at college, but I have a few ideas. I have three brothers and no sisters. I played tennis my freshmen year of high school. I have lived in three of the Four Corner states: Utah, Colorado, and Arizona. I took choir throughout high school, and I love to sing as much as I can.

Why I am a Mormon

I've been a member all my life, and I never felt the desire to leave and go to another church. I love being able to go almost anywhere, find one of our meeting houses, and feel welcomed and find a friend. I have moved a couple times, and I always could find friends in church. When I had back surgery when I was younger, I knew Jesus would take care of me, and knowing that helped me feel ok.

How I live my faith

I teach the nine and ten year olds at church. They may be chatty at times, but they are great kids. I love that I get to help them grow and learn about Jesus and our church's history. I sometimes sing in the choir for church meetings. I helped plan activities for the youth when I was younger, and also for a small group of young adults my first semester of college.
