Hi I'm Kristyn

I was born in Arizona into the church. I am a full time student. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently a full time student in college. When I am not busy with school, which is most of the time, I enjoy painting, spending time with my friends, and playing baseball. I have brothers that are currently serving missions, and while I am still too young to be an official missionary, I am preparing everyday until I am called!

Why I am a Mormon

I am Mormon because I respect what the LDS Church stands for. I am Mormon because the Mormon Church taught me how to be kind, how to be respectful, how to love everyone, and how to improve myself. I choose to be Mormon because I was taught values (individual worth, knowledge, choice and accountability, integrity, etc), both as a youth and as of today, that have greatly benefited my life in ways that were previously unimaginable. I am Mormon because I cannot deny that this is the truest religion. I am Mormon because the LDS Church has blessed my life in so many ways, and I know that because I am Mormon, blessings will continue to fill my life.

How I live my faith

I live my faith everyday by being kind, serving those around me, and working to improve myself everyday. I believe that everyday is a new chance to change who we are, to help someone in need, to be born again unto Christ. It is a goal of mine to attend my church meetings every week, even when I feel that I am too busy, or don't feel like it. I strive to study the Bible and/or the Book of Mormon every single day. I put my trust in the Lord everyday by following the commandments and choosing what is right.

What is faith?

Kristyn
For me personally, faith is putting my trust in God. I act in faith everyday when I read the scriptures and follow other commandments, trusting that I will get something out of it and will be blessed because I chose obedience. When I was younger, I had to work on my faith and my testimony, as I didn't give it the proper attention that I should've. I acted in faith and chose the right, even when I really didn't want to. Eventually, I found that my faith had grown, that I was starting to actually want to read the scriptures! Today my faith has grown more than it ever has before, and I see the benefits of it everyday.
