Hi I'm Rebecca

My name is Rebecca and I am a mormon! I live in Utah, I love to read and play the trumpet and participate in church activities.

About Me

I am the oldest of 2 kids in my family but the shortest. I have one dog and one cat. I love my family so much and am so thankful that I can be with them forever. I love to read books especially Harry Potter. I also love to play the trumpet, I have been playing for almost 10 years. I started in the 5th grade and played all through high school.I played in Jazz Band and that was an amazing experience. Music has helped me draw nearer to Christ and to my Heavenly Father by the music I play and listen to. I like to draw and paint even though I am not very good at it :-). I love to smile and say hi to everyone. I seek out people who I know who are in need of help and help them. I love kids there is nothing like getting a hug from a child who you teach and having them say thank you teacher.

Why I am a Mormon

I Am a Mormon! I Know It! I Live It! I Love It! Being a member of this church has blessed my life in so many ways I can't even begin to count all the times or all the things I have been blessed with. I have believed that this is the true church of God since I was young but it has only been a few years since I have known it to be true. The experience that changed my life from I believe to I know happen when I was 15 years old. I was on a pioneer trek (where we do what the Mormon Pioneers did and walk a portion of what they did with handcarts and tents) and there is a part where all the men go ahead representing when the men left for war and the women were by themselves. We were at the bottom of a big hill and all the women gathered in a circle to say a prayer before we started the mile long hike and there was a moment when everything was so still and there was a very soft and warm breeze and the Holy Ghost testified to me that I was not alone and that was a testimony to me that this is the one and only true church of God. So when I say I am a Mormon I mean it. I know that this is the true church and I will stand up and defend it. I know that the Book of Mormon is a true book and that we have a living prophet of the earth today and his name is President Thomas s Monson. I truly do love this church and look forward to being a missionary of the church of Jesus Christ of latter day saints and preaching the word to all who will listen. I am so grateful for all the blessings and for all those who have taught me throughout my youth. I am proud to say I am a Mormon

How I live my faith

I live my faith by following the commandments which God has given us, I teach children in my ward on Sundays, it has blessed my life so much and it helps my faith grow and inspires me to be better by the way they live their faith. I serve others as much as I can. One of my favorites is in the winter is to shovel the snow before they leave their homes. I live my faith by being an example to all who see me by living what i have been taught and following the example of
