Hi I'm Kiersten

I was born in San Diego, California. I'm studying to become an English teacher. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born in southern California. I have four younger siblings, two sisters and two brothers, and I love getting to hear about their lives while I'm away at school. I am a college student studying English Teaching. I love to write and dance when I have time. In high school, I volunteered at my local library. I loved seeing and being around so many books! I am preparing to serve a mission in the Italy Rome mission and I couldn't be more excited to serve the people there!

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because when I live the teachings of my Savior, Jesus Christ, I am truly happy. I have seen the blessings in my life that have come from following His example. It brings me great peace to know that I am a daughter of God and that He loves me and has a plan for me. If I keep His commandments, I know that I will be protected and find joy in this life. As I've read the scriptures and tried to apply what I've learned from them, I have grown in faith, love, and confidence. I know from study and from prayer that as we read the scriptures and try to live a righteous life, God's blessings will be available to us.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by having a positive attitude wherever I am. I know that God has a plan for each one of us and that if we try to live good lives, we don't need to be afraid or stressed because everything will work out. I strive to serve people in small ways, such as asking them how their day went or being encouraging. I also believe that I can live my faith by trying to live as Christ did. I know I'm not perfect like He was, but as I try to follow His example by treating others with love and respect, being humble, and following God's teachings, I can truly live my faith.
