Hi I'm Aspen

I am from Utah. I have been called to serve an LDS mission in Japan Kobe and will be leaving on September 27th.

About Me

I grew up as a member of the LDS church in Utah and just recently graduated High School. I've been called to serve a mission in the Japan Kobe and will be leaving in less than a month. I really like learning and going to school. I enjoy reading books, but still find time for physical activity with martial arts classes and marching band.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon for a lot of reasons. It's easy to say that I'm a member of the church solely because I grew up that way. However, even members that were raised in the church have a conversion story. My conversion might not have been one specific moment, but many different events led up to that. For example, events like getting baptized, getting my Patriarchal Blessing, going through the temple, and getting my mission call have all led me to where I am now.

How I live my faith

Until recently I was a president in the young womens group in my ward and had recently been called to be a ward missionary. However, I will soon be set apart as a full time missionary for the church and will go to Japan to preach the gospel.
