Hi I'm McKenna

I was born in Kentucky and raised in Utah, I love the outdoors. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to hike, ride horses and do anything outdoors! I come from a family of 6, in which, I am the youngest. I have 19 nieces and nephews, and I love them with all my heart! I love summer and being at the lake. I love hanging out with my friends and just going on random adventures all hours of the night! I am currently serving a mission in Minnesota (2017-2019)! I come from a small town in Kentucky and moved to another small town in Utah. I love my family, my dog, and this gospel!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon for many reasons. The biggest reasons that I am is that there is great comfort in this religion and although we don't have all the answers we have a lot that can bring us toward finding an understanding of our purpose on this earth. When was a sophomore in high school I had an experience that took me down a notch on the spiritual side. Then I built back up junior year. But senior I had a series of trials that eventually led me to not knowing if the church was true and if it was actually blessing my life. From senior year to the end of my freshman year in college I really was struggling with my testimony and I was deffintly not the person I wanted to be. But because of my roommate, my friends serving and preparing to serve missions, and honestly a lot of personal soul searching I made my way back! I decided to serve a mission within a few days of making my way back into the loving, unfailing arms of Heavenly Father. As I was preparing to serve and really taking advantage of the great blessing of the atonement, I became the person I knew God wanted me to be, or at least on the path to that person. Since I have been on my mission I have learned to heavily rely on The Book of Mormon and personal prayer because those 2 things have given me great strength and comfort that I never knew I could have! Personal conversion is real and so important! I love this gospel and I know it is true with all my heart! I know that as we choose to rely on Christ and God they will give us strength to make it through anything as we continually reach out to them!

How I live my faith

I love to have spiritual talks with my friends and share a positive spirit with those around me! I attend church weekly, I love the power of prayer, and try to show others the light of Christ by example.
