Hi I'm Phyllis Fuller

I was born and raised in Williams, Arizona,USA. Was baptized in Gallup, NM when I was 25yrs old. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I have five children, was married for sixty-four years before my husband passed away. We lived in seven different states and overseas. I love to read, do needlework, visit with my children and grand, and great grand children. I went to college in my fifties and became a registered nurse, which helped me to care for my husband when he had a major stroke. I have never lived or visited a place that I didn't like. I find beauty in all that God has created.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because of two young missionaries who really lived the gospel of Jesus Christ. They were only allowed to teach the Indian people and so I never had any discussions on the gospel or doctrines of the church. But we went to the little branch of the church where we were living, and sometimes we would take them to Gallup for Sacrament meetings. So little by little I developed a testimony and I am so very grateful to Heavenly Father for leading me to the true gospel of Jesus Christ and I did partake. What a wonderful blessing in the lives of my family and their families we enjoy today. I know that Joseph Smith is a true prophet of God, and that we have a living prophet and twelve apostles on the earth today. I know that the Book of Mormon is indeed the word of God to us in these latter days. I know that if we live the teachings of our prophet and apostles they will never lead us astray. This is a small part of my testimony of the truthfulness of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

How I live my faith

I try hard to be obedient in keeping the commandments and in following the council of my church leaders. Since I joined the church we have lived mostly in little branches of the church, which I always loved. I have taught in all the organizations of the church and loved especially teaching the youth of the church. My husband and I served a service mission after he was well enough and able to get around. Now I am eighty-four and ready to serve another mission. I am so excited to be able to serve the Lord.
