Hi I'm Noah

I sing, I dance, I act, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in a strong LDS home, but like all other latter day saints found out the truthfulness and conversion to this gospel on my own. Growing up I was always very involved in my community and especially school. I love to sing, dance, act, and be involved in Theatre. I also love to have a good time. I have always been involved in some type of student government, but in High School I was given the opportunity to be a the face of my school, performing in pep rallies, being school spirit committee head, and being an example to the point where almost everyone knew who I was. I love being an example and a leader to my community. That amazing and thrilling experience I had in high school has given me experiences and opened up opportunities to now go to the college of my choice after I finish my 2 year mission. I am now thrilled to move on to the next chapter in my life as I prepare to serve a church mission on October 10th in Puebla Mexico.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I got down on my knees and prayed, asking Heavenly Father if Joseph Smith was a real prophet, and if the Book of Mormon was true. Heavenly father answered my prayers through the Holy Ghost testifying to me that what I had grown up learning about was true. As I continue to grow and learn, and find out for myself the teachings and truth therein of Jesus Christ, I am proven time and time again that I am living the true Gospel of Jesus Christ. I never thought anything was missing in my life before I truly converted myself to The Lord, and now I am so joyful that my eyes have been opened and I know the truth. Not just that, but I stick to the truth I know even when I feel I am blinded and I am always brought back home.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by being true to myself and to what I believe in. When I know something is true, I stick to that truth. This is how I live my faith. Before I went to High School I had been educated by my parents about the Gospel, and when I asked for myself if it was true and diligently searched, I had the undeniable assurance by the Holy Ghost that it was. Since that moment in my life I have struggled and dealt with a lot of hard things, but if I stuck to the truth that I knew and was real and honest with myself The Lord has shown me time and time again through the Holy Ghost the truth, and brought me back to confirm what I know to be true. When I go through these experiences I make a point to never forget them and live the truths that I learn from them, even when it gets hard. Through these things I am able to be an example and a friend to all those around me.

Why are only some Mormons allowed into temples? Is there something secret going on in Mormon temples? What goes on in Mormon temples?

Noah
Nothing is secret about what goes on in Mormon temples, but rather sacred. I work 3 days a week in a Mormon temple and have been able to learn a lot while working there. In the temple we promise God certain things, as well as perform ordinances that bind families together forever, even after this life. After members partake of these ordinances for themselves, they are then able to go and do the ordinances all over again for ancestors who have passed away. These ordinances and spiritual experiences are very sacred, and are only meant to be carried out and discussed in Holy Places where heaven is on earth, like temples. Of course, to enter into temples we have to be worthy and ready to be in and a part of the Temple, so some members may have lifestyles, decisions, or spiritual preparations they need worked out before they are ready to go to the temple. Temples are beautiful and sacred places members strive to be worthy of to go to and feel of the Holy Spirit and draw closer to our Heavenly Father. Show more Show less
