Hi I'm Brady

I'm Canadian. I love to watch hockey. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently a university student in secondary education and I plan on teaching high school biology. I love music! I particularly enjoy singing and playing the guitar. I love watching hockey. I also enjoy reading and exercising. And I love life, it is such a wonderful gift!

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the Mormon church and was baptized when I was eight years old. Now, many years later, I’m still a Mormon because I love Jesus Christ and I know that the church He established Himself 2000 years ago has been restored to the earth. I know that He suffered and died for me, so that I can be forgiven of my sins and also so that I can live again after death and be with my family forever. The gospel of Jesus Christ brings me so much joy and it will bring that same joy to you too!

How I live my faith

I go to church every Sunday and gratefully take the sacrament, which is a reminder of the promises I made to God when I was baptized. I try to do my best in my church responsibilities, which currently includes occasionally teaching one of the many classes we attend at church. I look for opportunities to share the gospel of Jesus Christ with others so that they can enjoy the same happiness that I do.

What is the Atonement of Jesus Christ? Why was it necessary for Jesus Christ to sacrifice His life?

Brady
The Atonement of Jesus Christ is His suffering for all of the sins, pain, and sorrow of all people who have lived, now live, and will live on the earth. He suffered for our sins so that we would not have to suffer for them. We still need to do the things God has asked us to do and follow Jesus Christ so that we can receive that forgiveness of our sins. He also suffered for all of our pain and sorrow so that He could comfort us during those hard times because He knows exactly how we feel! If Jesus Christ had not given His life for us, we would be left alone to accept full responsibility for all of our sins, and we would also be alone in all of our suffering in life. We often think life's not fair, but life was most unfair for Jesus Christ who suffered for all the sins of mankind even though He did no wrong. If life was truly fair, Jesus Christ never would have come and we would be all alone to suffer for our sins. I am so grateful that life is not fair! Show more Show less
