Hi I'm Kenzie

I grew up in a small town in Idaho. I'm preparing to serve as a missionary in the California Roseville Mission. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to read and be outside. Anything outdoors will suffice; so hiking, biking, running, camping, swimming, etc. I love it all! I think I like being outside because that's what my family did/does when we were/are together. I am the fourth child of six, so I get to be a little sister and a big sister! I love being around my family and keeping up as we get older. I've been to college and love learning. I haven't graduated yet, but hope to become a teacher. All I want to do is help people and teaching is how I want to fulfill that.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I love Jesus Christ and following His teachings. I love the way I feel when I know my choices are in harmony with God's law. Helping others and learning of Christ make me more happy than anything else I do. I know Jesus is the Christ and paid the ultimate price, so we could return to our Heavenly Father. He loved us so perfectly that it was all worth the pain and sadness because we would be able to obtain perfect happiness. I know Joseph Smith translated the Book of Mormon and it is a true account of ancient American civilizations. Because the Book of Mormon is true, I know the gospel is fully restored on the earth and we have living prophets that teach and council us.

How I live my faith

In my ward, I've been involved in planning activities for youth. I enjoy finding ways to help people around my community; such as shoveling snow during the winter, mowing lawns, or just talking to different people. I loved being involved in high school. I ran cross country and track and I did student council. I got to plan activities, like prom and graduation and have a say in how activities were carried out.
