Hi I'm Greg

Hello! I am half Pacific Islander. I love to cook and sing. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have lived most of my life in Northern Utah. That being said, I love to hike, ski, swim, bike and especially go camping. My passion in life goes to cooking, it was something that I didn't grow up doing but I find that I love it now because it's something that passes the time and it's great way to get to know people. I also love to sing and act! I'm grateful that I was gifted to ability to sing. Music is very important to me and it is the ultimate relaxation tool that I use in my life. I'm very grateful to have been born with great parents that love and care for me and have raised me in a way to care for others. I will soon be a missionary serving in the Redlands California Mission! I love the opportunity to be able to go and serve others and bring the to Christ.

Why I am a Mormon

I have chosen to be a member of His church firstly because I was raised in it. Secondly because I love my Father in Heaven and my Saviour Jesus Christ. I love them with a fullness of heart and I don't want to disappoint them. We all need repentance in our lives, and through the Atonement we can be saved by the love of our Saviour and our Heavenly Father. I want to grow up in His church, and eventually have a family of my own who I will be sealed to for time and all eternity. I want my future children to be raised in this joyful gospel. I want them to experience the joy and happiness that I have felt through the gospel. I have a testimony that I know that this church is true, I know that Heavenly Father loves me and cares for me. I know that my Saviour lives! I know that he sacrificed himself and atoned for our sins so that we, through faith and endurance, can once again return to live with them in the highest kingdom of glory. I know Joseph Smith was and is a prophet of God. I know that he through the spirit of revelation restored the true church onto this planet once again. I'm grateful to be a part of this great plan of happiness, I know these things in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

How I live my faith

How I live my faith is different than others I would say. I was born into the faith, but my family wasn't incredibly 100% do everything that others of the church would do. In my early years, we held family home evening, said our family prayers at night, read our scriptures, all stuff that we should be doing. Over time though we did grow loose at these things and I will tell you it was a struggle. Things would become confusing in life, especially as a small kid. You could say, we were not the "perfect LDS family." But something that I have always treasured that my parents did is that they always wanted to make sure that big decisions were my choice. They didn't want to force anything upon me, because no one likes that. It made me realize and value the church even more because it was my choice to go on Sundays, it was my choice that I will be serving a mission, it was my choice to grow in the faith of this gospel. However, they would always let me know their opinion on what I should do, but it was always my choice. We now, aren't perfect, but we are better. This gospel is very important to me, we all make mistakes but I have made mistakes that I wish didn't happen. With the power of our Saviours Atonement, that is possible. We can repent of our sins with complete honesty and with a sincere heart, those sin can be wiped away from our past. If we live righteously and obey the commandments, be baptized, and endure to the end, how great will be our joy.
