Hi I'm Brooke

I am from Utah. I like to run. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I write songs. I like to paint. I like to run sprints. I like pizza.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because of the joy that I receive by living the gospel. I have been a member of the church my whole life and I am so grateful for the knowledge, peace and direction that I have had throughout my life because of the Gospel.

How I live my faith

I watch little children while their parents are participating in church meetings. I am going to serve a mission soon. I love reading the scriptures especially reading the Book of Mormon, it gives me peace and strength.

What do Mormons believe concerning the doctrine of grace?

Brooke
We believe in grace but we call it something else, the Atonement. We believe that through the atonement, or the grace of God, we are saved through Jesus Christ's sacrifice. Because he suffered, died, and can back to life again for us all, even though he was perfect and we are not. Because we are not perfect God has given us the chance to repent, be sorry for our sins and do our best to be better and not sin. As we repent, Christ's sacrifice stands as a witness for us that we too, through Christ might be saved and live with God again, like we did before we came to earth to be tested by our actions and all we do and believe. I believe that by God's grace and the power of the Atonement, that Christ did for us, we all have the opportunity to be forgiven and to live a happy life, that we may one day return to God again as his Children that have pasted the test of this life.
