Hi I'm Alanna

I grew up in Layton, Utah. I am a twin. I played softball for BYU-Hawaii. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up with a deep love and passion for competitive sports that I still have today. I enjoy playing softball. I even got the opportunity to play in college. Every spare second I have is spent with family or friends. I cannot wait for the many opportunities that await me and my loved ones in the future as we strive to follow in the Savior's footsteps day by day.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the Mormon faith by Mormon parents who taught me so much about what we as a church believe. As I have grown up, I have learned much about Jesus Christ, and the roles that he plays in all of our lives. I learned about the roles that we all play on this Earth. After learning all that I have, and receiving a confirmation of its truthfulness, there is absolutely no place I would rather be, no other church that I would want to belong to. I have a testimony of the truthfulness of this gospel that I have the opportunity to live. I truly believe that the Savior, Jesus Christ lived and died for each and every single one of us. He knows us better than anyone who has ever lived, and ever will live. And he loves us without a shadow of a doubt. Because of this belief, I continue to live faithfully by the teachings of the gospel. I love this church. I love Jesus Christ. And I say these things in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen

How I live my faith

At this time in my life, I have to opportunity to live my faith by serving a full-time mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. By doing this I will have an opportunity to focus more than ever before on my relationship with the Savior, Jesus Christ, as well as helping others to strengthen theirs. In the past, I had the opportunity to be a leader in many different callings as a president over multiple young women's classes. I also got to be a youth family history representative in my stake. While in my first year of college, I got to be a teacher in my ward. All of these callings have been a blessing in my life!
