Hi I'm Andrea

I'm South African. I'm a physiotherapist. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a mom of a baby girl currently working on an at home business while I get my little girl ready to go out into the big world. I have a physiotherapy degree and worked as a physio up until my daughter's birth. I would like to resume this work once she starts school. I love music, dancing (ballet and aerial/circus) and playing the piano and flute. Family is the most important thing to me. My life has been so fulfilling and joyful and that is ONLY because of the restored gospel of Jesus Christ and living fully according to the principles of His church. I wish I could share my experience with the whole world as everyone deserves the same happiness.

Why I am a Mormon

I know that there are answers to every single question that we have here, whether they have to do with the world, your work, studies, family, other people or anything else. These answers are found through applying principles found in Jesus Christ's church. We are not left alone to navigate life as best we can. There is a map. A map full of peace and happiness even though we have to go through trials and hardship. No one is exempt from hardship, and these hardships seem to be getting worse and worse. I have felt the Saviour's love and support as he has guided me through the questions and challenges that have abounded in my life. He has guided me on very specific paths that at times have made no sense but have led me to this point of happiness that I know I couldn't have reached on my own. I am grateful that I know I can receive answers to any and all of my questions as they come up, and I want everyone to have that security in a world that seems to abound in confusion and chaos.

How I live my faith

I work with all the music in my ward. I run music training so that others in the church can learn to play the piano, I help run the choir, teach music to the children and do any other training required in the different groups of the church. In South Africa music is embedded in our souls. Music and prayer are the two most powerful ways to feel the influence of the Holy Spirit touching your heart and whispering truths to you. I also love making friends at church as well as in the community where I live. South Africa is so diverse with people of every colour, religion, nationality and language. There is so much to learn from everyone else! So many different perspectives and insights that you could never gain by being restricted to one culture. I feel excited as I get to know others and implement truths I learn from them, in my own life.
