Hi I'm Eric Woodbury

I lived in Dallas Texas. I'm in the Tempe Arizona mission. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I don't really have hobbies at the moment because I'm on my mission. I guess my hobby is showing people the love of Christ. And serve the Lord through serving other's. The world's kinda weird and messed up at the moment, but I look at that as an opportunity to make a difference in someone's life, for the better.

Why I am a Mormon

Even though I was born in the church I still struggled with knowing. I've kinda always known that there was a God out there, but I didn't know if this was the true church. About 2 years ago I asked the Lord in humble and sincere prayer that even though I may not be the best person or the most worthy, if I can know if he is there and if this is where I'm suppose to be. And I felt absolutely nothing. And as I sat there in despair and agony I felt something come to me. It's as if someone came behind me and have me a huh. It was the warmest and most comforting thing I've ever felt. I looked behind me and I saw no one. Then I heard in my mind "get up, and keep going". He's here. This is his church. It's not always easy, and the people running aren't always perfect. But God is perfect. And if I try my hardest to become like him, i might be happier, and I might have a greater understanding in what the Lord wants me to do. Am I perfect? No. Can I try to do what the Lord wants me to do? Yes. I have to try. There's no point in not trying.

How I live my faith

I think the best way is do what the Lord says. God knows all things. Who am I to say that I'm not gonna do something he says. The only way he's gonna refine me and make me a better person is if I follow him. And I look at his attributes and try to mirror them and make them mine.
