Hi I'm Courtney

I have been called to serve in the Chile, Osorno Mission. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently a college student at Utah State University. I will be finishing up the fall semester and then I will be leaving to serve a mission in Chile! I played volleyball, basketball, and softball in high school and love supporting my favorite professional teams. I love the gospel and I cannot wait to share it with the people of Osorno!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because this gospel brings me joy! It gives me direction, happiness, and a desire to better myself each and every day. It teaches me how to become the person that God knows that I can be and gives me perpetual hope for the future. I know that no matter how lonely, forgotten, or discouraged I feel, I will always have the love and support of my older brother and Savior, Jesus Christ. Through His sacrifice, I am able to improve myself and be a light to others as I strive to become more like Him. My faith is strengthened by the words of the ancient prophets through the Book of Mormon, and I am given present day guidance through the mouths of our prophets and apostles. This gospel is a testament to me that Heavenly Father is always there. He is eager to aid and guide us as we work our way through life and strive to make it back into His presence one day.

How I live my faith

I have the best church calling in the whole world! I get to teach the Sunbeams (4 year olds) in primary! I love being able to feel there sweet spirits and I can see the love that our Heavenly Father has for each of them. The lessons are simple, but they hold such pure and eternal truths that help me in my life everyday. By being themselves, my little class teaches me about kindess, sharing, and unconditional love.

Who is the Mormon prophet today?

Courtney
The prophet we sustain and uphold today is President Thomas S. Monson. This man is called of God and with the utmost faith and selflessness leads and guides the Church. I can honestly say that I love President Monson and through his words, I have come to better understand the characteristics and nature of Christ. Through his selfless service, we are given divine guidance and warnings that apply in the day that we are living. I am so grateful for our prophet and testify that he is Divinely appointed and has been an instrument in the hands of the Lord in furthering the work. Show more Show less
