Hi I'm Hannah

I grew up in small town Montana. I love words. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Growing up in a small town blessed me with opportunities to be involved in every aspect of the high school I attended and the community I live in. I played volleyball and tennis for all four years of school, loving each sport thoroughly. I also had the opportunity to participate in Speech & Drama, a competitive speech and theater program. As partners, my best friend and I brought scenes from classical theater to life, preforming and competing all over the state of Montana. We placed with in the top 4 in our category at every state level competition we competed in. A love of literature and theater have developed within me through that program and also my involvement in community theater. Words both written and spoken, as the most powerful form of communication, fascinate me.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into an enthusiastic LDS family. I grew up learning about Christ and what he has done for me. The circumstances I was born into however, alone are not enough to seal my abiding commitment to living in accordance with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I had to learn for myself that this is his true and living church, directed by prophets and apostles in our day. I had to seek out answers to my questions and pray for understanding of my own. When that understanding came, I knew that I have a Father in heaven who loves me and has a plan for my life. I built a personal relationship with my Savior and Redeemer, though the trials and joys I have so far experienced. I am a Mormon because I see the evidence of the Lord's hand in my life everywhere I look. My participation within the LDS Church has taught me how to recognize his love and understand why I'm here. Without the gospel as a guiding light, I know that I would be utterly lost in this world that has fallen into so much confusion. I find comfort and understanding in the sacred words of the Book of Mormon. I know that it is a record preserved through the generations, specifically meant to help the Lord's children on the earth today. I feel his love and desire for me to find my way back to living with him someday. The Gospel of Jesus Christ is the pathway home.

How I live my faith

Through church I have been blessed with even more opportunities to learn and grow as an individual, closer the person the Lord would have me be. I have learned how the be a leader and manage responsibility through positions I've held in the Church's youth programs. I have learned how the love and serve the people around me, whether they're out in the community, or the people within my own home. I have learned to confidently share my beliefs with the people I interact with. I live my faith by striving each day to become more like the Savior.
